In 1985, in cooperation with Diesel Marine International, Ltd., Norfolk created
DMI Division. Since then we have been supplying the world's large bore and medium
speed diesel industry with high quality, world-renowned components. We are located on the
eastern coast of the U.S., making our facility and fully stocked exchange pool very
convenient for vessels trading in U.S. waters.
Norfolk Ship Repair DMI Division is the only state-of-the-art reconditioning facility in North America
operating in partnership with Diesel Marine International, Ltd. We are a division of
America's most modern shipyard, Norfolk, and America's largest non-nuclear ship repair,
